This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Using the body of the Type III tank, with the main gun mounted in a fixed battle chamber, the Type III assault rifle was easy to produce, and since even larger guns could be installed, about 10,000 tanks of each type were produced by the end of the war. At its initial development, it was intended to be a direct support vehicle for infantry, and it was characterized by its low height. As the war progressed, a type for anti-tank battle was also developed. Among those, the B type is the second-most produced type, starting in June 1940. By May of 1942, 250 of the B type had been built; its main gun is a 24-caliber 7.5cm StuK37 assault cannon. It was also used with great success in Operation Barbarossa.
This kit from Dragon features the latest modeling technology to bring us a highly detailed model of this low-profile tank. The battle compartment and transmission are fully reproduced, and the low roof is fully packed with the main gun mechanics and communication equipment. Photo-etched parts are included for the mesh of the air intake grille and the antenna support bracket. The NEO tracks are partly integrated so that you can enjoy realistic slack and damage expression.
As a bonus for the first release, interior parts will be included! (If your kit does not include this part, it was not part of the first release.)
