This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The WWII Sturmpanzer IV "Brummbar" ("Grizzly Bear") was Germany's attempt to mount an infantry support gun on a mobile platform by fitting a large, box-like superstructure to the proven Panzer IV chassis and adding a stout 150mm Howitzer. Proving itself over time to be an excellent fire support vehicle, 298 Brummbars were produced, in four series.
Dragon's Cyber Hobby release of the Brummbar represents an early production vehicle, featuring and excellent representation of the zimmerit anti-magnetic coating. The kit features a highly detailed 150mm gun with rifling and great breech detal. All hatches can be assembled open or closed. The schurtzen side skirts are made of scale-thin metal, and can be added or removed individually, even after assembly. Tracks are provided as Dragon's "Magic Trak" indy links, which are all cleaned up and ready for assembly (glue is required). Also includes a fret of photo-etched metal detail parts, wire for the tow cables, clear parts, and markings for two versions.
