Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Nashorn anti-tank self-propelled gun was one of many of Germany's interim designs to place the potent 88mm anti-tank gun on a fully tracked chassis and get it out in the field. Lightly armored, crews had to hope for a first hit or risk getting quickly destroyed themselves. Even with that risk, the Nashorn served successfully until the end of the war.
AFV Club adds to the selection of available Nashorn kits with this fantastic release! The kit features a workable suspension, accurate road wheel axles, detailed fighting compartment with scale-thickness armor walls, detailed ammo storage with rounds, detailed PaK 43 88mm gun with metal main gun barrel, workable gun travel lock with metal spring, detailed chassis interior sections, photo-etched metal parts, flexible belt-style tracks, and markings for five vehicles.
