Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The Jaguar 1, also known as Raketenjagdpanzer 3, is a West German anti-tank vehicle equipped with HOT (Haut subsonique Optiquement Teleguide = optically guided subsonic) anti-tank missiles.
This vehicle is an upgraded version of the Raketenjagdpanzer 2, replacing the SS.11 anti-tank guided missiles with HOT missiles and enhancing its armor. A total of 316 vehicles were upgraded between 1978 and 1982.
The Jaguar 1 adopted by the German Army received new optical and FLIR systems between 1993 and 1995 and was gradually retired by 2005. Some units were also sold to the Austrian Army.
