This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

As the limit of the performance (firing rate, payload and range) of the traditional tubed artillery (gun and howitzer) became obvious, Western armies turned their eyes on rocket artillery in the 1980's. The MLRS (Multiple Launch Rocket System) is a replacement for the 203mm howitzer of the Corps artillery. It has a state-of-the-art firing control system and can deliver a huge payload with great accuracy, with a short period of preparation time. Its excellent performance in the Gulf War and the War in Iraq proved its efficiency. Dragon's model is an early product, released prior to the Guld War. Great care will be required to build up the driver's cabin and also the launcher box; but this is still the only kit of the MLRS in this scale. The replaceable rocket pod unit (which iss included in DRA3523) is not included in this kit.
