At the beginning of World War II, U.S. infantry wore field clothing called the M1941 field jacket, but from the latter half of 1944, the improved M1943 field jacket was provided. At the same time, two-buckle boots with integrated leggings were introduced. Equipment includes ammunition pouches, water cylinders, scoops, ponchos and more. General soldiers carried M1 Garand, BAR M1918A2, and M1A1 Thompson guns, and non-commissioned officers and officers mainly carried M1 carbines. In addition, handy talkies for portable radios were used for reconnaissance missions.
These five figures from Tamiya include a commander looking forward with an M1 carbine in his hand, two standing soldiers carrying an M1 Garand and a BAR, a rifleman holding an M21 Garand on one knee, and a soldier communicating with a handy talkie. The firearms and equipment feature a sharp finish, and decals are included for their class badges and more. Two of the soldiers wear helmets with a camouflage net, and two soldiers also include optional ponchos. Order yours today!
