This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Due to the occupation of France in June 1940, the German Army acquired a large number of armored vehicles; they operated them as self-propelled artillery to make up for their own lack of numbers. The Marder I was one such vehicle; it was a tracked armored carrier developed by the French Army in the late 1930s. It was equipped with a battle room and a 7.5cm anti-tank gun, and was deployed on a wide range of fronts, where it was known for its ambush ability and high power.
This kit from Tamiya is based on research conducted on actual examples of this tank; its uniquely compact riveted body with a long-barreled 7.5cm cannon is modeled with a high degree of realism. The interior is also precisely detailed, down to the main gun loading port, shell rack, shells and radios; the tracks are connected and assembled with straight parts integrated for natural slack. Two figures are included, as are decals for three versions. Order yours today!
