This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.


The LRDG Long Range Desert Group Ford F 30 Gun Truck was a special military vehicle used during World War II
This vehicle was equipped with a Bofors 37 millimeter gun designed to engage enemy armored and light vehicles

Key features include

Armament The Bofors 37 millimeter gun was mounted on a special 360 degree rotating mount providing a wide field of fire
Design The cargo bed side panels were lowered to maximize the gun firing arc
Operation Normally it carried forty five AP armor piercing rounds and forty five HE high explosive rounds
Challenges The vehicle was heavy and occupied space making it unpopular with the crew at times

The vehicle was used to counter ambushes by enemy forces but encounters with enemy armored vehicles were rare so the gun was sometimes removed to allow space for supplies

Kit includes seven sprues with 280 parts clear parts etching parts 3D printed parts and three resin figures
