This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

LARC (Lighter, Amphibious Resupply, Cargo) is an amphibious vehicle developed in the United States.

Propelled by screw propellers on the water and tires on land, LARCs had a higher waterborne capacity and carrying capacity than conventional amphibious vehicles, and were mainly used to transport personnel and supplies from offshore landing craft to coastal areas and for communication.

LARCs were classified into three categories according to the weight they could carry, and the LARC-V was the smallest 5-ton type, whose development began in 1956, and was adopted in 1959, followed by its production and introduction in 1963.

The LARC-V was also provided or sold to the allied countries, and after being used by the military, it was sold to the private sector and is still used for sightseeing and other purposes today.
