Description

This is an injection-plastic figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.

In the Korean War that began in 1950, the Democratic People's Republic of Korea and the Republic of Korea, led by Kim Il Sung, vied for sovereignty over the Korean Peninsula. The People's Republic of China, led by Mao Zedong, supported the North Korean army. Meanwhile, the South Korean army was supported by the U.N. Army, and the United States and China were to meet on the Korean Peninsula. The battle at Lake Nagatsu, which took place from November 27th to December 13th, 1950, is known as a particularly tough battle in the frigid cold. The People's Volunteer Army from China clashed with the 1st Marine Division of the United States in this battle; the U.S. military fought hard at the cost of many lives.

This model kit from Dragon brings us eight unpainted figures of four soldiers from each side: the Chinese People's Volunteer Army, and the U.S. Marines 1st Marine Division. All are dynamically posed; the winter uniforms and weaponry of each side is carefully expressed. Order yours today!
