This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
AK Interactive brings us a 1/35-scale model kit of the winch-equipped type of WM300, a truck operated by the Israeli Defense Forces. The WM300 has been in use by the Israeli Defense Forces and IDF since the 1960s. The base is Dodge's WM300 Power Wagon, an American civilian truck produced from 1962 to 1971. Completely knocked down from 18966, it was produced by AIL (Automotive Industries Limited) in Nazareth, Israel. Its success became widely known during the Yom Kippur War that broke out in 1973. The WM300 was used not only in Israel, but also in Uganda, Kenya, and southern Lebanon; this durable and reliable vehicle was used in a wide range of military applications.
This model kit is a completely new mold! It reproduces the type of WM300 truck with a soft top and a winch. The chassis frame and leg area are reproduced in detail, as are the four-wheel drive drive shaft, and the front and rear left spring suspension. The interior of the open-type driver's seat is also modeled in detail. The soft top parts that cover the cargo bed and driver's seat fully reproduce the natural sag and texture of the material. The hood frame parts are also included, which can be completed with the cover removed. Photo-etched parts are included, as are decals by Cartograf for five versions (four types of IDF vehicles during the 1973 Yom Kippur War, and one for a South Lebanon Army vehicle in the 1980s). This model kit will be a favorite of military fans and also truck aficionados! Order yours today!
