Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Finally, a modern tooling of the good ol' Type 97 Chi-Ha with 57mm cannon! The veteran Tamiya kit is not bad, and Fine Molds' previous Shin-hoto Chi-Ha kit was excellent, but this is the first "new" kit of the "original" Chi-Ha since the '70s--and what a brilliant kit it is! The kit depicts a Chi-Ha with the 57mm turret and improved hull. It goes without saying that the quality of molding and attention to detail are second to none. Markings are provided for four different vehicles: two stationed in Manchuria, one in Saipan, and one on Jeju Island. Be sure to check out the separately-sold detail parts, linked below. This special limited edition of Fine Molds' Chi-Ha kit includes a full set of Modelkasten's magnificent workable individual-link injection-molded tracks (the normal flexible belt-style tracks are not included).
