Among the Panzer IV tanks that were used throughout World War II and continued to support the advance of the German Army, the G type was the first to be equipped with a long-barrel 7.5cm gun. Produced from March 1942 to June 1943, early production models were characterized by the use of rounded muzzle brakes. At the time, the German armed forces were struggling with the short-barreled Panzer IV tanks against the formidable T34 medium tank on the Russian front, and the Panzer IV G type became a valuable force that could compete with the T34 for the first time. In addition, the medium-sized military motorcycle equipped with a two-stroke single-cylinder 350cc engine is lightweight and easy to handle, and is highly reliable and can withstand harsh Russian climate conditions, making it useful for communications such as messengers and reconnaissance. It was used not only on the Russian front, but also on various fronts in Europe and North Africa until the late war.
