Rocket Models brings us 1/35-scale model kit of the E-75 Jagdtiger German Army tank destroyer that lets you choose between 66-caliber and 55-caliber weapons! This is a "what if" kit of a vehicle that might have been realized as a German combat vehicle if the end of World War II had been slightly delayed.

The E-75 was designed as a heavy tank in the E Plan, which standardized tanks by weight and by various components in their development, which had been extremely complicated up until that point, to increase productivity. The E Plan far exceeded schedule, and in October 1943, a mass-production system for the initial design was established, and it was rushed into the front line. During the E Plan, E-50 and E-75 vehicles that had broken down or were damaged on the battlefield and salvaged were modified into the Jagdtiger II, a tank destroyer, by attaching a fixed fighting compartment to the body. The fighting compartment boasted 250mm of frontal armor, and was equipped with a 66- or 55-caliber 12.8cm gun. There were no guns among the Allied land weapons at the time that could penetrate that frontal armor.

This model kit can be assembled with either a 55-caliber or 66-caliber weapon by selecting the gun barrel. The unique body shape with sloped armor that takes into account the bullet deflection angle and the design of the new turret is realistically reproduced. The shape of the turret is expressed based on Rocket Model's own research! The gun barrel can be moved up and down even after completion, and the road wheels, which are realistically reproduced down to the finest detail, have a distinctive layout. The tracks parts are partially one-piece, split and glued, combining easy assembly with a realistic finish. Order yours today!
