This is an injection-plastic figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.

The German Army learned the effectiveness of the 120mm mortar the hard way after they encountered it on the Russian battlefield. They copied and produced the same weapon for their own use. It was used widely until the end of war. Zvezda gave a light to this often neglected yet important weapon. The kit consist of one 120mm mortar, one two-wheeled carriage, two ammo trailers, four wooden ammo boxes and four gunner figures. The 120 mm mortar can be built in firing mode or transport mode. The lid of the two-wheeled ammo trailer can be opened and display the ammo rack inside. Moldings are fine but some sanding work will be required. Four gunner figures in regular Army uniforms are in action poses and fully geared. They look pretty good. This will be a nice addition to any military gun collection!
