This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
The A34 Comet was the best British tank of WWII, after several mediocre attempts prior to its development; but its debut in 1945 was too late to be of much use. The Comet had almost no chance to pit its combat ability against the German Panzers, as their numbers were scarce toward the end of the war. Moreover, the far superior design of the next-generation tank, the Centurion, was already ready to deploy just few months later. Bronco Models has released this famous tank in 1/35 scale as an injection plactic kit, filling an old gap in Allied tank models. Bronco maintains their high production quality with fine details and crisp moldings. The 77mm (shortened 17-pdr.) gun breech is thoroughly reproduced and can be seen through the turret hatches. Optional parts allow you to build one of four versions: WWII early, WWII late, post-war, and one deployed in Hong Kong. A fret of brass photo-etched parts is included for delicate parts such as the sight vane. Optional early model idler wheels are included as resin cast parts. Tracks are the cementable rubber belt type. Six sets of colourful decals, printed by Cartograf, are included (but no figures are included). An excellent addition to the collection of British tank fans!
