This is an injection-plastic figure kit.

Both a running and lying down giraffe are included, and although the figures are unpainted (molded in pink or light blue), the giraffe's pattern is molded into the plastic for ease of painting. The other baby animals are also carefully sculpted, down to the elaborate wrinkles on the baby rhino's skin and the hyena's shaggy coat.
