From the Ukrainian company ACE comes their first-ever 1/35 scale product, the "Four-Wheel Drive 0.5t Light Military Vehicle (Type 183) 'Iltis,'" now available.

The Type 183 is a military vehicle developed and manufactured as the successor to the DKW Munga, which the German Army used from the 1950s. Its nickname, "Iltis," means "polecat" in German, and it was also produced under license in Canada. Manufactured for a decade from 1978 to 1988, around 9,500 units were ultimately produced. While most production models were four-door (canvas door) and had a canvas-topped open roof, ambulance, anti-tank, command, and field communication variants were also produced.

The kit faithfully reproduces not only the cabin interior but also the engine and engine room, with the option to choose between open and closed hood configurations. Additionally, you can choose to equip or leave out the doors and canvas roof. The kit includes photo-etched parts, resin tires, and three types of decals (German Army x 2, Belgian Police x 1). ACE's kit is an excellent reproduction, faithfully representing even the delicate parts.
