Introducing the new product from Ukraine's Ace: the 1/35 4WD 0.5t Lightweight Military Vehicle "Iltis" Ambulance. The "Iltis," named after the German word for "weasel," is the Type 183, developed and manufactured as a military vehicle succeeding the DKW Munga, which was used by the German Army since the 1950s. This vehicle was produced from 1978 to 1988, with a total of approximately 9,500 units made, and it was also license-produced in Canada. While most production models featured four doors (canvas doors) and a canvas-covered open top, variants such as the ambulance type, anti-tank type, and command and field communication type were also produced. The kit faithfully recreates not only the cabin but also the engine and engine compartment, with the hood able to be posed open or closed. This product features new mold parts to accurately depict the ambulance variant. It comes with etched parts, resin tires, and three types of decals (German Army x 2, French Army x 1). Ace's kits are renowned for their excellent detail, capturing even the most delicate components faithfully.
