This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The Messerschmitt Bf110 is a twin-engine fighter plane used by the German military in World War II. It began operation in 1937; it continued to be improved until the end of the war. The first model that became a full-scale mass-produced aircraft was the C type, which began production in 1938. Various types were made, from the C-1 to the C-7, including heavy fighter and reconnaissance aircraft types. The C-7 type was equipped with two DB601 engines, and armed with two 30mm and two 20mm cannons in the nose, as well as two 7.92mm machine guns in the rear cockpit. It was also equipped with a bomb rack capable of carrying 1,000-pound bombs, demonstrating its high capabilities as a fighter-bomber.
This 1/32-scale model kit from PIatz reproduces the Messerschmitt Bf110 C-7, with a finished wingspan of 50.6 centimeters! Its distinctive twin-engine shape makes a big impact at this massive scale; the canopy covering the two-seater cockpit comes with a masking sheet that makes it convenient to paint the fine frame. The sharp paint divisions on the canopy will enhance the realism. The two engines and the cockpit interior are reproduced in great detail, and you'll be able to enjoy the challenge of building and finishing that only a large model can provide! This kit is perfect for model airplane fans who want to take their time building it, and the included masking sheet for the canopy frame will help you achieve the level of realism that you crave.
