Description
This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
The Spitfire is a single-engine, reciprocating, single-seat fighter developed by the British company Supermarine. The prototype type 300, later named Spitfire, made its first flight in March 1936, and in June of the same year, it was officially adopted as the Spitfire Mk.I, and mass production began. Initially, the Mk.I was equipped with a 1,030-horsepower Merlin Mk.II engine and a Watts 2-blade fixed-pitch wooden propeller, but later the propeller was replaced with a De Havilland 3-blade metal selective-pitch propeller, which greatly improved performance. Around that time, the Malcolm canopy, which bulged the movable windshield upward, left and right to improve visibility, was adopted. Order yours today!
