This is an injection-plastic aircraft model kit.
Tamiya's kit of the F-51D Mustang faithfully reproduces the version seen after World War II, with square-tipped propeller blades and two new types of radio. It includes a precision-finished liquid-cooled V-type 12-cylinder engine, as well as two types of drop tanks, 500-pound bombs, and 5-inch rockets (HVAR).
