Aoshima brings us a 1/32-scale model kit of the Ferrari GTO -- the road-going racing car that's the ancestor of later Ferrari supercars -- as part of their "Rakupla" snap-kit lineup!

This completely new mold model kit provides the elegant body, faithfully reproduced by scanning the actual vehicle, with a vertically mounted mid-engine V8 twin-turbo engine. The wheels are center-lock star-shaped magnesium wheels, and the model kit is easy to assemble with just 40 parts. The retractable headlights can be built either opened or closed, and parts that need to be painted are reproduced with stickers.

• No Painting Required -- The body color is reproduced by coloring the plastic material, so painting is no longer necessary; the body has a high level of gloss, too. 
• No Adhesive Required -- Adhesive is no longer required by adopting a snap-on assembly method.
