This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
The Bf109 was the main fighter plane of the German Air Force during World War II, designed by Willy Messerschmitt's design team. This aircraft was equipped with a monoplane, all-metal stressed skin, enclosed windshield, retractable landing gear, and other features that were mainstream in single-seater fighters during World War II, as well as a distinctive design with small wings and engine mounts on the landing gear compared to the aircraft's weight. More than 30,000 Bf109s were produced in total, and many ace pilots such as Erich Hartmann and Gerhard Barkhorn achieved their records in this aircraft. The Bf109K was the last mass-produced model in the series, and the K-4 was the first production model. It is said that a total of about 1,500 K-4s equipped with the DB605D were produced at the Regensburg factory from August 1944 to April of the following year.
This 1/32-scale model kit from Kotare Models is an entirely new tooling! It includes early- and late-production instrument panels, aerial mast, and rudders. Parts are included for optional deployed and retracted slats, flaps, radiator doors, R6 camera, seats with and without molded-in safety harness detail, tall and low tail wheel struts, three types of tail wheel doors (open, wired shut, built shut), drop tank and carrier, open and closed canopies. windscreen coaming air intakes, outer undercarriage doors, wood and metal horizontal tailplanes, and compass hatch. The wheels feature weighted tires with correct alignment, and high-quality Cartograf decals for three early- and late-production versions are included. Place your order today!
