Chrysler's Plymouth Fury made its debut in 1956 as a Plymouth specialty model, and was produced until 1978. With two-door and four-door hardtops, two-door convertibles, four-door sedans and four-door station wagons, it was popular with a wide range of fans. The body design was slightly changed to a more eye-catching look with large vertical tailfins in 1957; further model changes occurred after that until its discontinuation after 1978.
