This is an injection-plastic passenger car kit.
Chrysler's Plymouth Fury made its debut in 1956 as a Plymouth specialty model, and was produced until 1978. With two-door and four-door hardtops, two-door convertibles, four-door sedans and four-door station wagons, it was popular with a wide range of fans. The body design was slightly changed to a more eye-catching look with large vertical tailfins in 1957; further model changes occurred after that until its discontinuation after 1978.
This model kit from AMT/Ertl of a 1958 Plymouth Fury snaps together so glue isn't needed! The chassis is integrally molded and the interior has been omitted for simplicity; with just 21 parts, even beginning modelers will find this kit a breeze to assemble. The iconic large tailfins, supercharged blower and chrome-plated wheel parts make this car an ideal street machine! Colorful decals and metal shafts for the wheels are also included.
