Mercury M100 Pickup Final Model Fully Recreated with New Molds
This is a 1/25 scale plastic model assembly kit that recreates the 1968 Mercury M100, a representative American pickup truck.
About the Real Vehicle:
The Mercury M-Series was a line of pickup trucks sold by Ford's Mercury division from 1947 to 1968. These full-size pickup trucks bore the "M" for Mercury, followed by a number indicating the vehicle's gross vehicle weight rating (GVWR) divided by 100.
The lineup included models with straight-6 and V8 engines, as well as rear-wheel drive and four-wheel drive options.
Primarily sold in Canada, the 1968 model marked the final production year of the M-Series.
About the Model:
This plastic model assembly kit faithfully reproduces the Mercury M100, sold under Ford's Mercury brand, at a 1/25 scale.
The 1968 final production model is recreated in full detail with new molds, including the engine. The finished length is approximately 203mm.
The square, straight-line body design is sharply and accurately represented down to the fine details.
The grid-patterned front grille is meticulously detailed, and chrome-plated parts like the grille and bumpers provide a realistic finish.
The kit is a full-detail model, with even the chassis and suspension reproduced. The ladder frame is assembled with front and rear suspension components, precisely showcasing the mechanical structure.
The engine bay includes a detailed engine with auxiliary equipment, offering opportunities for further detailing with wiring and piping.
The interior of the cabin is also faithfully recreated, including the steering wheel, dashboard, and seats.
License plate markings and text are included as slide decals.
This kit is a must-have for fans of American cars and trucks alike.
