The F-series pickup truck has been sold in the United States since 1948. Production continues while model changes occur, holding numerous records in sales volume, and its popularity continues today. The 1968 model is the fifth-generation version, first appearing in 1967. It was a full-size pickup truck; each model from F-100 to F-350 was lined up according to size. The cab is wider than the fourth-generation version, and the frame is also stronger; the F-250 had a maximum load capacity of three-quarters of a ton.
