The Volkswagen Polo R WRC is the S2000 rally car that German Volkswagen has introduced to WRC since 2013. The body with over fenders is expanded to 1,820mm, which is the full width allowed by regulations. It was equipped with a 1.6-liber in-line four-cylinder engine with a turbocharger at the front. It took part in the 2013 Round 1 -- the Monte Carlo Rally. It put up a good fight, recording the top time on the SS and finished in second place. After winning its first victory in the second round of the Swedish Rally, it continued to perform well after that, and from its debut year, driver Sebastien Ogier won the championship and also won the manufacturer's title.

This model kit from Beloit is based on the version that won the 2013 WRC champion Polo's Rally de France-Alsace. The body reproduces the front and rear over fenders in one piece; large decals are included for the markings of three drivers: Ogier, Latvala, and Mickelson.
