Since its debut in 1967, the Toyota Century has reigned as the highest-end domestic passenger car for over 40 years. With its high rear seat comfort and luxurious interior, it has a strong chauffeur-driven character, and is often used as a government vehicle, meaning it's often seen in reports and newscasts. This model kit from Aoshima is an advanced version of the G40 series that appeared in 1982; this is a reproduction of the long-wheelbase "L-Type (VG45 type)" that was added in 1990.
