This is an injection-plastic passenger car kit.

Fujimi's 1/24-scale model kit of the Toyota FJ Cruiser Special Edition is based on the early model released in Japan in 2010, recreated with newly molded parts! 

[Series Specifications]:

• Pre-colored parts allow you to create your desired color scheme without painting.
• Snap-fit assembly allows for easy assembly without adhesive.

[Specifications]:

• Features include side under-mirrors in compliance with Japanese regulations, additional turn signals on the front fenders, and revised rear turn signals.
• Wheels feature 17x7 1/2-inch J-steel wheels, standard on the base grade.
• The front side bumpers are a type without front fog lights.
• The side windows have undergone significant changes, with the frame and glass now made into separate parts.

[Body Features]:

• Integrated parts for easy assembly
• The hood, rear, and roof, excluding the sides, are separate parts with a layered structure.
• Panel line engraving is set to a depth that takes into consideration paint assembly and shading.
• The exterior panels are under-gated, preventing the gate cut surfaces from being exposed and conspicuous.
  
• The body is molded in a white color, and a special molding material is used to achieve a gloss that is difficult to reproduce with paint.

[Chassis/Underfloor Features]:

• The chassis is shaped like a ladder frame, recreating the entire structure.
• The corrugated surface of the panels and the underside of the side steps are recreated in three dimensions.
• Drivetrain components such as the driveshaft and differential are made into separate parts to create a hollow feel.
• Lateral rods and trailing arms are not integrated into the chassis, but are provided as separate parts.
• The undercarriage is molded in black, and the exhaust muffler parts are pre-painted in silver.

[Tires/Wheels]:

• The front tires can be steered even after completion, allow for flexibility when displaying the model.
• The wheels are the same 17x7 wheels as standard on the base grade, equipped with 1/2J steel wheels.
• Wheel parts are pre-molded in black.
• Tires are made specifically for the FJ Cruiser, and feature a realistic rubber finish.
• Spare tire comes with a wheel cover.

[Windows/Transparent Parts]:

• The side windows feature separate window frame and glass sections for a realistic shape and asy assembly.
• The frame and glass are separate parts, eliminating the need for masking when recreating painted parts.
• Front and side turn signals are molded in clear orange.
• Brake lights, including the high mount, are clear red. Includes molded parts colored with a clear smoke finish.
• The rear window is molded in a clear smoke finish to recreate the smoked look.

[Other Details]:

• The front and rear wipers are separate parts, accurately capturing their delicate shape and size.
• The mirrored surfaces of the side and rearview mirrors are recreated with stickers.
• The roof is made with a special molding material that enhances the gloss.

[Detailed Painting]:

• The included stickers recreate the detailed coloring, and are pre-cut for easy application.
• Stickers include the meter panel, logo, and vehicle number plate.
• Includes a special-edition analog meter featuring the design from before the 2014 minor change.
• Bonus parts include a roof rack (adhesive assembly is required).
• Film stickers are included to create a black finish on the window glass pressure-bonded areas.
