    1991 World Rally Championship (WRC), the four-day 47th Lombard RAC Rally, the final round of the series, was held in November 24th through 27th in Northern England. For this traditional and highly prestigious event the Subaru Rally Team entered Markku Alen, Colin McRae and Ari Vatanen, three great drivers. Although this was his first event with a Legacy, Ari Vatanen, the world rally champion in 1981, finally climbed through the field to finish fifth overall. It was a remarkable rally for the Subaru team. Colin McRae scored no fewer than seven fastest stage times, though he eventually retired after going off the road. Vatanen's result was proof of the potential of the Legacy and the reason for expectation of good results in the following year. Order today!
