Red Bull has been taking part in Formula 1 racing with its own team since 2005. The RB8 and thus eighth car from Red Bull Racing was used during the 2012 season. The raised bridge on the nose of the car is very prominent and owes its presence to the new Formula 1 rules. Mark Webber has proved his driving skills several times during the season. He was after all in one of the top four placings in 10 out of 20 races and with his 179 points has contributed decidedly towards winning the Constructors Title.
