The M4GT3 is a GT3 racing machine that BMW announced in 2021, and is the successor to the M6. The engine is a 2993cc inline 6-cylindber equipped with an M TwinPower Turbo, and produces 590 horsepower. The transmission is equipped with an Xtrac 6-speed. The body has a large air outlet on the hood, and a wing attached to the rear with a swan-neck stay. Deliveries to racing teams around the world began in 2022, and the car has been active in GT3-category races in Europe and the United States. It has also been introduced by a Super GT team in Japan. In the 2022 season, Sheldon van der Linde, a driver of the Schubert Motorsport team who participated in the German touring car race, DTM, won the championship, proving its high performance.
