Since the first model was born in 1969, the legendary Nissan Fairlady Z has achieved great success with the production of more than 1 million units as early as 1983! The third generation was announced in September of 1983. Although it still had its easily recognizable long nose and short deck, air resistance was reduced by the smooth form that eliminated as much unevenness as possible. It also featured a semi-retractable parallel rising headlight. It carries a V-type six-cylinder turbo engine in all grades. Among them, the VG30ET type with a displacement of 2,960cc installed in the top-grade 300ZX demonstrated 230 horsepower, making it the most powerful domestic car! The suspension is a four-wheel independent suspension with MacPherson struts on the front and semi-trailing arms on the rear. It was also equipped with a three-way adjustable shock absorber that can switch the damping force in three stages. The brakes are large-diameter four-wheel discs with a ventilated front and a solid rear. It was finished as a high-performance car comparable to the most prestigious European sports cars.
