Description

This is an injection-plastic racing car model kit.

The T.50 is the first car from the manufacturer GMA (Gordon Murray Automotive), launched in 2017 by Gordon Murray, a genius who created numerous innovative F1 machines as a designer for Brabham and McLaren in the 1970s and 1980s. The car's name comes from the 50th anniversary of Gordon Murray's career and the 50th design. A 3.9-liter V-type 12-cylinder engine is installed in the midship on a lightweight and compact body that weighs less than one ton, which is unusual for a modern supercar. The large fan installed at the rear of the car body functions as an aerodynamic device that controls six different aero modes in combination with the internal duct and movable rear wing. It also features a three-seat layout, with the driver's seat in the center and the front passenger seats behind it. This is the ultimate driver's car that can be said to crystallize Gordon Murray's ideas.

The hood on this model kit from Tamiya can be opened or closed after completion; you can enjoy the internal details such as the damper unit of the rear suspension and the exhaust. The transparent parts of the window and roof do not require glue, and the window frame does not require painting. The V12 engine, radiator, exhaust pipe cover, and air duct that connects the diffuser to the large fan are also reproduced. The underside of the car body is covered with a flat under panel, and the rear end is equipped with a diffuser that generates downforce. The photo-etched mesh of the rear bumper is sandwiched between plastic parts, so you don't need glue to assemble it; the front and rear suspension springs are slide-molded, and separated from the damper to enhance the sense of precision. The front and rear brake discs and calipers are separate parts for ease of painting; please use a metal primer for painting photo-etched parts. Order this amazing kit today!
