This is an injection-plastic passenger car kit.
From the manufacturer:
Louis Delage was born in 1874 near Cognac. He founded his own company in 1906, and fascinated by racing, he built his own racing cars. He was successful almost imediately and, in 1913, he won the Grande Prix de France.
The Great War from 1914 to 1918 slowed down the activities of the Delage car firm. By 1919, the company was specialized in the manufacture of high-performance engines.
At the 1930 Motor Show, the Delage D8 was presented for the first time. Its success was immediate and the greatest body-builders of the time--Chapron, Letourneur & Marchand, Figoni, Falaschi, Fernandez & Darin, etc. all dressed the Delage D8 chassis.
The engine of the Delage D8 was the direct heir of the 1927-1930 DM and DM.S, but with two more cylinders. The car's performance was easily up to its looks, and 140kph was guaranteed.
Will be 21cm long and 7.4cm wide when assembled; 110 pieces.
