This is an injection-plastic racing car model kit.
The M3 (E30) has participated in the Group A touring car race since 1987 as BMW's main machine. It took part not only in touring car races around the world, but also in the World Rally Championship held in Group A, the WRC, and more. At the Tour de Corse held in May 1987, it defeated rivals such as Delta and won the championship. It showed high performance, even in the rally field. The machine developed by BMW based on the M3E80 in accordance with Group A regulations uses blister fenders in front and rear fenders to expand the tread. The aerodynamic performance is improved by installing a large wing on the rear. In addition, it was equipped with a 2.3-liter in-line four-cylinder DOHC engine.
This model kit from Beemax fully reproduces the M3 (E80)'s powerful body style; the characteristic shape of the front and rear blister fenders, the rear wing equipped on the high-deck trunk, and the front spoiler are also firmly reproduced. The interior includes roll bars, bucket seats, and various rally equipment for a spartan atmosphere. The underside of the chassis features separate parts for the suspension for a three-dimensional effect. Decals are included for car number 10 that won the 1987 Tour de Corse, as well as sponsor marks. Order this speed machine for your own collection today!
