This is an injection-plastic racing car model kit.
The BMW 320i (E21) Group 5 specification was developed for sports car racing by BMW, based on the commercial model 320i, it was announced in 1975, and modified to Group 5 Silhouette Formula specifications. It has a 1,998cc DOHC in-line four-cylinder engine that was active in Yoroppa's Formual 2 race; the front and rear fenders are equipped with large over fenders. It also has a large rear wing. After participating in the manufacturer's championship in 1977, it participated in the world championship and the German Touring Car Championship as well. It was also lent to many works teams.
This model kit from Italeri perfectly reflects the 320i (E21)'s boxy and powerful body style! An in-line four-cylinder engine is modeled under the hood, which is removable after assembly. The interior, with its roll cage, bucket seat, various devices and dashboard, accurately expresses the atmosphere of a racing model. In addition, the underside of the chassis has a three-dimensional effect, including the details of the floor panels, the exhaust and the suspension arm. Decals are included for the BMW works team's tricolor strips and car numbers. Order yours today!
