Description
This is an injection-plastic passenger car kit.
Fujimi's 1/24 scale Toyota Corolla Levin1600 GT APEX (AE86) tuner car features "tuning parts" like a full aero package with fender flares and front and rear spoilers and Porsche 956 aero disc wheel covers (not the Volks Racing covers as seen on the box art). The base kit was originally released in the 1980s as a motorized kit, thus the chassis was designed to accommodate batteries and a motor, sacrificing some accuracy in shape and dimension (Fujimi bravely admits this right on the box. Kudos, Fujimi!). Skills with putty recommended for some of the body work.
