Here's an interesting 1/2000-scale vignette showing the final moments of the mighty IJN battleship Yamato, under attack from US forces as she was attempting to approach Okinawa on April 7, 1945. The detailed model on a sea base with ship's wake, torpedo wakes and hits, plus a bomb hit and explosion on the starboard side, comes enclosed in a clear plastic case to help keep it free of dust and fingerprints.
