AMT/ERTL brings us a model kit of the new American large rocket Artemis 1, which was launched in November 2022!

The Artemis project is a manned spaceflight program led by the United States that was begun with the goal of sending humans to the moon again after 2025. The project is progressing with the participation of the European Space Agency (ESA) and Japan's JAXA, as well as Canada and Australia. The Artemis rocket consists of two boosters and a core stage equipped with four RS-25 engines. With a maximum thrust of 8.8 million pounds, it is the most powerful rocket ever! The rocket will launch the Orion spacecraft, which will fly unmanned around the moon and return. The Artemis-1 mission was a spectacular success -- and once again, humanity has begun a great mission to leave its footprints on the moon!

This model kit is made with completely new molds; the rocket body, two booster rockets, and the Orion spacecraft mounted on the tip are reproduced in high detail. The engine nozzle, rocket booster, core stage and panel lines on the surface of the Orion spacecraft are all painstakingly duplicated, and decals are included for the NASA logo marks. A special display base is included, so you can experience the excitement of lift-off into space, and make you dream of a new stage of flight to the moon!
