The E7 Series is a JR EAST bullet train which began running between Tokyo and Nagano in March of 2014. Its top speed is 260 kilometers per hour. Starting in the spring of 2015, it will run direct from Tokyo to Kanazawa, and will run under four different names based on the service system: Kagayaki, Hakutaka, Tsurugi, and Asama.
