Description
This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Having trouble even seeing the parts in 1/72 scale? Is 1/48 scale still too small for you? Well, how about a 1/18 scale Bell X-1? This is a "basic" kit, designed with working landing gear doors to allow one to "play" with the completed model, and consists of only 48 parts. There are some rather large tabs on some parts to facilitate a "quick and easy" build (but this is not really a "snap kit" either), so purists will want to do some reworking and detailing to get a detailed scale model from this kit. Still, all the basics are here and what detail is provided in the cockpit is truly not bad at all, so for anyone who wanted a very large, bright orange rocket plane this kit is a must! Includes decals for Chuck Yeager's aircraft, "Glamorous Glennis".
