Description

This is a resin-cast figure or figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.

This resin 1/16th full-length figure of Princess Elizabeth (later Queen Elizabeth II of England), who served in the British Army's Auxiliary Territorial Service (ATS) during the Second World War as a 2nd Class Associate Captain, is made from resin.

In February 1945, at the age of 18, Princess Elizabeth joined the ATS, the female branch of the British Army, where she broke with previous convention and received the same treatment and training as ordinary soldiers, serving as a 2nd Class Warrant Officer, maintaining military vehicles and managing ammunition.
The rank of 2nd Class Associate Lieutenant in the ATS is the equivalent of an Army Second Lieutenant.

The model wears a uniformed cap with the ATS insignia and an army uniform, and walks with a strong gait.
