Description

This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.

The Pz.Kpfw.I Ausf.A was first mass-produced by Germany after World War I. It was developed as a lightweight and simple tank for learning of production techniques and training, but the invasion of Poland immediately after the start of World War II made it necessary to put it into actual combat. The Type A is equipped with a rotating turret and an MG13k machine gun welded to the hull, and a Krupp M305 horizontally opposed four-cylinder air-cooled engine. Approximately 800 of this vehicle were produced, and participated in the Spanish Civil War starting in 1936.

This kit features assemblable tracks, with moving suspension and wheels; the main hatches can be built open or closed.  Clear parts and photo-etched parts are included, as are decals for 4 versions.
