This is a resin-cast figure or figure set for use with military dioramas or individual display.

The MACV (Military Assistance Command, Vietnam) is a U.S. military intervention organization with the mission of supporting South Vietnam. The SOG (Research Monitoring Group) was a special operation unit of this group; 2,000 people belonged to this group at its peak. They were deeply involved in the planning and execution of major special operations during the Vietnam War, and suffered enormous losses in exchange for their many achievements. There are 50 members who did not return to their 10 units; 14 units were completely destroyed and are still missing in action. Ten units have received the Medal of Honor and 23 have received the Special Media Cross.

This kit reproduces a veteran special force member; a spare head is included equipped with an XM-28 gas mask.
