Description
This is an injection-plastic military vehicle model kit.
Following on the release of the static version of the Leopard MBT in 1/16 scale, Tamiya now releases the much sought-after German Flakpanzer Gepard! Like the Leopard, this was originally a radio-controlled model, but now is being released as a non-RC static display model kit. Impressive size (about 50cm long!) and great detail. The legend returns!

- 1/16 scale plastic assembly kit of the German Flakpanzer Gepard which featured the most advanced anti-aircraft fire control system when it was introduced in 1973.
- Distinctive form of the SPAAG (Self-Propelled Anti-Aircraft Gun), including the box-shaped turret equipped with two Oerlikon 35mm cannons as well as tracking and surveillance radars, is accurately reproduced.
- Lower hull is made from duralumin. Metal torsion bar springs enable realistic suspension movement for different display possibilities.
- Plastic tracks come conveniently pre-assembled.
