The Citroen DS 19. People either love or hate this car. Heller even says as much right on the packaging of this big 1/16-scale kit! First introduced in 1955 at the Paris Motor Show, the DS 19 set new standards for appearance, handling, ride, and technical innovation such as its hydropneumatic self-leveling suspension. It was also the first production car with disc brakes. The then-futuristic body was designed by Flaminio Bertoni, and although no longer seeming quite so futuristic to modern eyes, still has a unique charm that sets it apart from other autos of its era. Heller's big DS 19 is the only kit available of this unique car in 1/16 scale, and one of the very few available in any scale for that matter.
