This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.
Completely new 1/144 XB-70 Valkyrie Prototype Strategic Bomber from Ukraine's Armory
The XB-70 is a strategic bomber developed by North American Corporation based on the U.S. Air Force's "Valkyrie Project." With a maximum speed of Mach 3, it was planned as a supersonic forward strategic nuclear bomber capable of making a non-stop round trip between the U.S. territory of Alaska and the Soviet capital, Moscow.
After its first flight in 1964, the aircraft was not officially adopted, mainly because it lost its raison d'etre due to the development of intercontinental ballistic missiles.
Prototype 2 was lost in a mid-air collision in 1966, but Prototype 1 was transferred to NASA and continued to fly in order to collect data for the development of the SST (Super Sonic Transporter) project.
This injection plastic kit includes two types of windshields, nose top parts (for takeoff and landing and supersonic flight), etched parts, 3D printed afterburners and four types of decals.
Wing tip parts can be selected from 3 types: 0 degrees lowered for takeoff, landing and low speed flight, 25 degrees lowered for medium speed flight, and 65 degrees lowered for high speed flight.
When completed, the aircraft will be approximately 393mm in length and 222mm in width (in low-speed flight).
