Description

This is an injection-plastic jet aircraft model kit.

• Known as the world's first practical stealth fighter, the F-117 was deployed and operated by the USAF from 1983 to 2008.
• The aircraft had a unique appearance with a complex combination of planar shapes and its surface was coated with radar-absorbing material.
• The engine was powered by two F404-GE-F102 turbofans.
• The exhaust ports were laid out above the fuselage and had a special design with slots to eliminate radiant heat and diffuse heated air.
• It was designed and engineered by Skunk Works, a company known for developing various masterpieces.
• It produced excellent stealth characteristics.
• The aircraft made its operational debut during the Panama invasion of 1989.
• Later, in the Gulf War of 1991, the stealth of the aircraft was used to great effect in night attacks on defence installations in Baghdad.
